"The Maison des Sarrasins dates from 1602 and is located in the heart of the old village of Orvin. By chance, it was spared during the fire of 1724. So it is a testimony to the life of the olden days, of the time when the everyday life of women bore little resemblance to our life of today! As the museum is open on request, according to availability, I took the trouble of telephoning before organising this visit, which takes about an hour".
