“I wanted to organise the annual outing for our village gymnastics club. We decided to go to Mt-Soleil / Mt-Crosin for a snowshoe hike with a mountain guide, where we had the chance to follow some stoat tracks. Then we stopped off the astronomical observatory to look at the sun, which was a fascinating discovery. At the end of the day, there was an excellent fondue made with Tête de Moine cheese waiting for us at an farm restaurant. To get back down to the valley, we took the funicular railway from Mt-Soleil to St-Imier. The guide had organised everything and they did a great job.”
