After the newly-completed refurbishment of the grand organ, I attended a concert that transported me into a world of musical splendor. The entire site is rich in history and is well worth exploring."

  • Individual visitors from October to May can obtain the key to the Abbey church at the reception of the Psychiatric Clinic (Mon-Fri  8 am-6 pm, Sat-Sun 8-12 am + 1-5 pm). T. + (0) 32 484 72 72.
  • Summer exhibition, mid-June to mid-September, + CHF 3.00 per person is charge for the entering the exhibition.
  • This tour is a journey back in time to meet the Premonstratensian monks who founded Bellelay Abbey. Accompanied by a guide, discover the architecture and monuments, learn about the origins of the "Tête de Moine" cheese of Bellelay" and hear many other stories about this site and its rich history.
