"Mr Blum welcomed us to this old forge he decided to bring back to life. He explained the work of the blacksmith to us, how implements are made and used. What’s most impressive is that when you go into the forge, you feel like time stopped 40 years ago, when Paul Giauque stopped working in the 70s. He made implements for neighbouring villages, even as far away as Biel; he also repaired farming implements. Many implements are still hanging: horse shoes, pick heads, axes, metal wheels, cart wheels and much more."
