The Jura Open is an international chess tournament which takes place every year during three days on a weekend at the end of November. It consists of five rounds: one on Friday evening, two on Saturday and two on Sunday. 90 minutes are played for the first 36 moves, another 30 minutes for the rest of the game. The tournament counts for the Swiss and international ranking lists. Each year the Jura Chess Association delegates a club member for the organisation.
