"When I was asked to go on a walk that included a tour of a distillery, I didn’t know what to expect. So I was delighted to walk into this special place full of floral aromas, whiffs of alcohol and stills of all kinds. The making of liqueurs and the famous absinthe is a real quest for aromas and taste. Distillation is an art, the creations including plum, quince, apple, gentian, elderflower and pine, to name but a few."
