Jura mountain range (route No. 54)

“Crossing La Chaux-de-Fonds by bike then heading off towards the Franches-Montagnes is a real treat! What I enjoyed most of all was the diversity of the landscapes dotted with enormous stone pines, isolated farms, hills and solitary valleys. When we arrived in Tramelan we took advantage of the great outdoor swimming pool for a moment of comfort! The weather on the following day was excellent and we were ready to set off again. The journey to Moutier is very pleasant, then the road slopes upwards and winds its way along the railroad towards Saint-Joseph. It is a wonderful contrast!”
