“That day, I left the car at Les Reussilles. From the first step, I was in the wild and peculiar beauty which is specific to the Franches-Montagnes. It was cold and snowing, but the walk was still pleasant and easy. The path led me to the natural pond of la Gruère, the most extraordinary natural pond in the Canton of Jura. I walked around the pond thinking that I would never really tire of this sight, whatever the season.”
