Les Bugnenets – Savagnières

The fresh-fallen snow that came down during the night announced perfect conditions for snowshoeing. After arriving in Bugnenets-Savagnières I headed straight to the newly opened Maison Chasseral to rent the required equipment. Fully equipped, the adventure started. Between the countless fir trees and the snowy branches I was able to spot two does, drinking water from a stream. A couple of miles later I decided to stop by at the Buvette de la Clochette to enjoy a delicious hot chocolate, before calling it a day.
